At the heart of Korean cuisine, a proper meal isn’t complete without banchan—small, shareable side dishes. In our 'The Art of Banchan' class, Sara Upshaw, owner of OHSUN, will guide you through the techniques behind various styles of banchan including kimchi, namul, muchim, bokkeum, and jorim. Explore unique ingredients, approachable recipes, and the cultural significance of these humble dishes. You will also enjoy the banchan during the class with a warm bowl of rice and other accompaniments prepared by Sara and the OHSUN team.
